Intended use:
It is used as a binder in cold asphalt mixes for pothole repairs on secondary roads, and temporarily for repairing potholes on primary roads during winter
Application:
Applied cold in a mobile mixer or on an asphalt base. The asphalt mixture must be stored prior to use to ensure complete breaking of the bitumen emulsion, complete water evaporation, and formation of a bitumen film around the aggregate. Optimal consumption for aggregate coating is 8–10%.
