What is BIKUTEKS?

Bikuteks is a homogeneous mixture of polymer-modified bitumen and mineral filler, cast into tapes of defined dimensions. Bikuteks tapes are manufactured in accordance with MKS EN 14188-1 and are available in two variants:

• BIKUTEKS – a polymer-modified bitumen tape installed using the hot application method with heating with gas tourchers;
• BIKUTEKS S – a self-adhesive polymer-modified bitumen tape installed using the cold application method.
