Intended use:
It is used as a vapor barrier layer and a vapor pressure equalization layer in multilayer waterproofing systems for flat roofs and is installed before the thermal insulation. The granules separate the membrane from the substrate, allowing improved circulation and regulation of vapor pressure. In addition, the membrane also serves as a waterproofing layer. Within the waterproofing system, it can be combined with other types of bitumen membranes in multiple layers.
Application:
Installation is performed by placing the membrane (granule side down) onto the substrate, fixing it with cold-applied bitumen adhesive, and torch-welding the 10 cm overlaps.
